In Borås, Sweden, reports have emerged of a girl gang harassing at least eleven young girls through provocative and threatening behaviors. Comprising five to eight members, the gang has been described as randomly targeting victims. One alarming incident involved a 12-year-old girl at a hamburger restaurant, where a gang member took her food and began eating it in front of her to incite a reaction.

A 14-year-old victim, known as 'Emma', shared her experience of being confronted on her way home from school, with gang members pulling her hair and filming the encounter. Thomas Fuxborg, the police spokesperson for the West region, highlighted that these actions are part of a tactic to provoke confrontations.

The police are in the process of identifying the gang members, some of whom are minors. They noted that while not all gang members participate in every incident, there are typically a couple who instigate the harassment. Fuxborg expressed optimism about their ongoing investigation, indicating that the police have made strides in deterring the gang by making them aware of the scrutiny they are under.
