Two Separate Attempted Murder Stabbings Investigated in Southern Stockholm

On the evening of November 9, 2025, two stabbing incidents classified as attempted murders occurred in southern Stockholm districts Bandhagen and Tallkrogen. In Bandhagen, a man in his 25s was injured with stab or cut wounds around 8:00 PM and was taken to the hospital. The crime scene was secured by police for a technical examination, but no arrests have yet been made. Meanwhile, in Tallkrogen around 10:30 PM, a man in his 60s was attacked with a stabbing weapon. The injured man was hospitalized after ambulance transport. Authorities arrested a man also in his 60s in connection with this incident. The police are actively investigating both cases as attempted murders, with ongoing technical examinations. Jari Kalliorinne, the police duty officer, confirmed the investigation is handling the detained individual in Tallkrogen. These violent assaults have raised concerns about public safety in southern Stockholm areas and highlight ongoing efforts by law enforcement to swiftly resolve such cases.
