Authorities in Sweden are currently investigating two distinct attempted murder incidents as of early November 2025. In Märsta, north of Stockholm, police efforts resulted in the hospitalization of one person and the arrest of a suspect connected to an attempted murder. Police spokesperson Jonas Jos confirmed that an official investigation is underway. Additionally, a separate violent crime involving aggravated assault also took place in Märsta, leading to another hospitalization and arrest. Police have expressly stated they see no link between these two crimes. Meanwhile, in Järvsö, Ljusdals kommun, a man was found injured outdoors and was taken to hospital conscious and able to speak. The police are treating this as an attempted murder though the nature of injuries excludes gunshot wounds. The area is cordoned off for a technical investigation, as stated by Police Commander Joar Källman.
