Two Arrested in Huskvarna Following Wave of Violent Robberies Targeting Elderly Women

In Huskvarna, two individuals have been arrested on January 20, 2026, following a series of violent robberies aimed at elderly women, predominantly widows over the age of 80. One suspect, a man in his 20s, faces charges including two counts of aggravated robbery, attempted aggravated sexual assault, and two counts of attempted aggravated robbery. The second suspect, a minor under 18, is held on suspicion of participating in the same series of crimes.

The attacks began on New Year's Eve (December 29) and continued through early January, with incidents occurring on January 7, 8, and most recently January 11. In the latest case, intruders stayed for an extended period inside an 85-year-old woman's home to steal valuables.
