Traffic Inspector Dies in Tragic Driving Test Collision in Södertälje

On Wednesday afternoon in Södertälje, a fatal accident occurred during a driving test when a driving school car collided head-on with a truck, resulting in the death of a traffic inspector and injuries to the driving school student. The inspector, a man, succumbed to his injuries at the scene, and the student was hospitalized with injuries from the crash.

The incident has deeply affected Trafikverket, with Sofia Lindahl, communications manager for Trafikverket Förarprov, expressing sorrow: "It is an incredibly tragic day; our thoughts are with the relatives." Crisis support has been activated for those affected by the accident.
