Swedish Police Officer Christian Zedig Fatally Assaulted at Copenhagen World Cup Event

Christian Zedig, a 32-year-old Swedish police officer, tragically lost his life after being fatally assaulted during a World Cup viewing event in Copenhagen. The incident occurred in the Islands Brygge area amid a match between Norway and Ivory Coast when a violent clash erupted among a group of young men. Zedig intervened in the fight, reportedly struck in the neck during the altercation, and later died at the hospital from his injuries.
