The highly anticipated Swedish House Mafia concert at Ullevi in Göteborg was abruptly canceled due to an approaching thunderstorm, leading to the evacuation of the arena before the performance could begin. The Swedish Meteorological and Hydrological Institute (SMHI) had issued a yellow warning for thunderstorms in the area, urging residents to stay indoors and avoid tall structures. Ellinor, a 27-year-old attendee, described the situation as chaotic, saying, "We stood long without any information at all. It's chaos and people are booing." Similarly, 17-year-old Max Hurtsén noted that the mood had soured even before the storm, with people booing after waiting for two hours. Anton Johansson highlighted the inconvenience, especially for fans who traveled from other cities like Stockholm and faced disruptions to their plans. He also suggested that better planning might have been possible considering the weather forecast.

Swedish House Mafia took to Instagram to address their fans, expressing their regret: "This hurts. We know many of you have traveled far and waited long, but when the weather poses a safety risk, there is no choice. The safety of our audience, artists, crew, and staff is our highest priority." They promised to provide further updates, emphasizing that safety was the foremost concern.
