Isak opened the scoring in the 20th minute, securing his 19th international goal with an assist from Yasin Ayari. Romania quickly equalized through Dennis Man, capitalizing on a defensive lapse from Victor Nilsson Lindelöf. However, just before halftime, Gyökeres converted a rebound from Lucas Bergvall’s long-range shot to restore the lead.
