Sweden's men's volleyball team endured their third consecutive loss in the 2026 European Championship with a straight-sets defeat to world number four Slovenia, losing 25–16, 25–21, and 25–12. This latest setback followed a hard-fought match against the Czech Republic, ranked third globally, where Sweden pushed the contest to a decisive fifth set just a day earlier.

The match against Slovenia exposed the gap in quality, with Sweden unable to gain a foothold after a strong second set effort.
