Sweden Launches School Attack Commission Amid Rising Concerns Over Violent Incidents

The Swedish government has announced the creation of a School Attack Commission in response to a tragic violent attack at Brinellskolan in Fagersta, associated with Liam Nebel. The commission is tasked with improving early detection of risks and preventing future school attacks, following several serious violent incidents within Swedish schools over the past 15 years.

The commission’s scope includes reviewing domestic and international cases to draw lessons for Sweden’s education system and law enforcement.
