Sweden Dominates Sprint Relay in Davos with Dahlqvist and Sundling's Stellar Performance

In the 2025 Cross-Country Skiing World Cup sprint relay event in Davos, Sweden's first team showcased a commanding performance by clinching the victory with a significant margin. The duo of Maja Dahlqvist and Jonna Sundling led the charge, with Dahlqvist's strategic move during the penultimate stretch providing Sundling a crucial lead, which she maintained to finish the race 2.7 seconds ahead of Norway's second team. Sundling described treating the final as a 'prologue,' pushing hard without holding back once she secured the gap.

Both Swedish teams, the first consisting of Dahlqvist and Sundling and the second featuring Emma Ribom and Linn Svahn, advanced comfortably through qualifiers. While the first team secured gold, the second team ended in fifth place, with Ribom acknowledging the challenges posed by the high altitude.
