In a separate incident, an 80-year-old man has been arrested for the murder of a 75-year-old woman in Linköping. Retailers and self-defense instructors have noted a surge in demand, with courses filling quickly and parents purchasing sprays for children going out at night. Anders Wahl, press officer at Clas Ohlson, and other retailers link the rise in sales to recent murders in Rönninge and Boden, underscoring growing anxiety over personal security.
