Sweden's 2025 Christmas retail season has concluded with robust sales growth, signaling an optimistic turn in the country's economic prospects. According to Svensk Handel, retail sales increased by 5.3%, with grocery sales leading the way, climbing 6% between December 1 and Christmas Eve compared to 2024. Sales of non-durable goods rose by 4.6%, and total Christmas sales are projected to reach 24.5 billion SEK, the second-highest since 2021, underscoring renewed momentum in the retail sector.
