Storm Anna continues to batter Sweden, resulting in significant travel disruption and harsh winter weather conditions. Authorities have issued yellow and orange snow warnings, with the Swedish Meteorological and Hydrological Institute (SMHI) extending these warnings through Sunday evening. Stockholm's heavy snowfall has tested snow plowing efforts, and officials are carefully monitoring road conditions to prevent ice hazards.

Arlanda Airport, a major hub, has seen numerous flight delays and cancellations, denoted by a red departure board signaling severe disruption. Notably, a flight from Bergamo was unable to reach the arrival hall due to heavy snow, forcing passengers to be bused the final distance. Landvetter Airport has also experienced delays.

The ramifications of Storm Anna extend beyond Sweden's borders into Europe, exemplified by thousands of stranded travelers at Amsterdam's Schiphol Airport amid snow and wind warnings. Swedish traveler Emilia Dufva, who boarded a plane at Schiphol bound for Arlanda, recounted her flight's cancellation due to snow accumulation on the aircraft, highlighting overcrowded conditions at the airport.
