Stockholm Pride 2026: A Vibrant Show of Inclusivity Amid Heightened Security

On August 1, 2026, approximately 50,000 people gathered in Stockholm for the annual Pride parade, an event marked by its vibrant celebration of LGBTQ+ inclusivity and visibility. The parade unfolded under sunny skies with temperatures around 22 degrees Celsius, stretching from Kungsholmstorg through key city locations to conclude at Slussen. Georg Guldstrand, a member of the Bearded Villains and a police volunteer, expressed feelings of safety in Sweden, noting, “Idiots finns överallt.
