Small Plane Crash in Lake Limmaren: Ongoing Rescue Efforts

A small aircraft has crashed into Lake Limmaren near Norrtälje, Sweden. The incident was reported at around 16:15 local time, with initial observations noting the plane is partially submerged. Two individuals were believed to be on board, although details surrounding their conditions remain unclear.

The rescue operation is extensive, involving multiple emergency services. Two ambulance helicopters, along with divers, have been dispatched to assist in the search efforts. According to Björn Alverfeldt of the Swedish Maritime Administration, while it has been noted that the plane has four seats, the exact number of people on board has not been confirmed.
