This was confirmed by team doctor Houman Ebrahimi and the decision was made jointly with Birgander’s club Joventut and the national team staff. Birgander’s absence necessitates adjustments, with players such as Kenny Pohto, Zaba Bangala, Adam Ramstedt, and Nick Spires expected to step up. The team called up 15 players for their crucial upcoming match against Estonia, out of which only twelve will be able to play.
