Shooting in Flemingsberg Leaves Two Injured, Suspect Arrested

A shooting incident in Flemingsberg, a suburb southwest of Stockholm, has resulted in two men being hospitalized, with one person arrested on suspicion of attempted murder. Police were alerted shortly before 8 PM on Thursday evening, August 28, 2025, after residents reported hearing gunshots in a stairwell. Upon arrival, authorities discovered two injured men, one reportedly suffering a gunshot wound to the hand, who were both conscious and able to communicate. They were promptly transported to the hospital for treatment.

The shooting reportedly took place in an apartment complex, with police confirming the initial reports of gunfire around 19:45. In addition to the injured, a suspect was taken into custody later that night.
