Serious Bus Accident on E4 Near Linköping Injures Multiple Passengers

A significant bus accident occurred on the E4 highway near Tallboda, Linköping, during the afternoon on September 11, 2025, resulting in injuries to multiple individuals, three of whom are reported to be in critical condition.

Around 3:45 PM, a bus belonging to Linköping University, carrying approximately 60 students who were traveling between Linköping and Norrköping, overturned and landed in a ditch. Initial reports indicate that at least 11 passengers sustained injuries, with three classified as seriously hurt, according to police spokesperson Ola Älveroth. Two individuals were initially trapped inside the bus but were subsequently rescued by emergency services.
