Rockbjörnen 2026 Set for Gröna Lund with Katia Mosally and Pontus Bjernekull Mörner as Hosts

The Rockbjörnen 2026 music awards will take place on September 16 at Gröna Lund in Stockholm, marking a significant event for Swedish music fans. Tickets went on sale starting May 25 and can be purchased via the Gröna Lund website. This year's gala will be hosted by Katia Mosally and Pontus Bjernekull Mörner, who are collaborating for the first time. Both hosts emphasize a lively and chaotic atmosphere, aiming to deliver an entertaining experience for the audience.

Fans have the opportunity to vote for their favorite artists from June 1 to June 22 through Aftonbladet, with categories including Female Artist of the Year, Male Artist of the Year, Group of the Year, Breakthrough of the Year, Swedish Song of the Year, Foreign Song of the Year, and Fans of the Year. Nominees will be announced on June 29, and the winners will be revealed during the live gala, which will air on TV4 and Aftonbladet.

Katia Mosally, 39, expressed excitement about hosting for the first time, stating, "It should be the best last day of summer." Pontus Bjernekull Mörner, 27, looked forward to working alongside Mosally and creating an "uncontrolled chaos" on stage. Established in 1979, Rockbjörnen remains Sweden's unique fan-voted music award, highlighting its cultural prominence.

With live performances yet to be announced, the event promises to celebrate the best in Swedish and international music while offering fans a chance to participate actively by voting and attending the gala at an iconic Stockholm venue.
