The 15th annual Investerar-SM competition organized by Nordic Growth Market (NGM) is witnessing record interest, with thousands of participants engaging across the Nordics. Running from October 13 to 24, the event promotes investment education through simulated portfolios, encouraging both novice and seasoned investors to test strategies with one million kronor in fictional funds.

Exchange Traded Products (ETPs) are central to this year's competition, offering cost-effective access to diverse assets like commodities, currencies, cryptocurrencies, and stocks directly on the exchange. Magdalena Hartman, CEO of NGM, emphasized that ETPs provide exposure to otherwise hard-to-reach assets including gold, oil, and global indices such as the S&P 500, facilitating risk diversification and real-time portfolio adjustments.

Since its inception, over 100,000 participants have taken part in Investerar-SM, competing for prizes totaling up to 250,000 kronor this year. The event also features the Investerar-SM Campus, engaging students from ten Swedish universities to foster practical financial literacy and economic engagement among youth.

With major sponsors like Société Générale and Vontobel backing the event, the growing prominence of ETPs in the Nordic investment landscape is underscored. Hartman expressed the competition's role in educating and inspiring informed saving and investing for 15 years, reflecting significant market interest in these versatile investment products.
