The 2026 Falsterbo horse show, ongoing from July 4 to July 12, has seen a prominent win for Sweden as Peder Fredricson clinched victory in the 1.45 international jumping class riding Balou Blue. This marks Sweden's first win at the event, affirming their strong position in international equestrian sports.

Swedish rider Malin Baryard Johnsson also competed strongly, finishing 13th in the 150-class with her horse Indiana, a notable performance given her past World and Olympic gold medals with the same horse. Germany’s Andre Thieme and Richard Vogel took the top spots in the 150-class and 1.45 class respectively, with Swedish riders placing among leading competitors.

A significant development at Falsterbo was the inclusion of Thomas Ryan in the Swedish team, marking his debut representing Sweden after switching nationality from Ireland.
