In a delightful development for local families, Skövde will debut a new forest theater production titled 'Billingetrollet and the Big Trash Collection Day' this August. Set in the picturesque Billingetrollets skog, the play invites children to join vibrant forest characters on an adventure focused on cleaning up nature while unraveling a mystery involving missing trash bags and potential culprits like the mischievous Blängisarna or a cunning fox.

Performances will take place twice daily from Monday to Friday during weeks 32 and 33, and best of all, attendance is free. The colorful characters are portrayed by summer interns from the Skövde municipality, bringing youthful talent to the project, while the script is penned by Tuva Sundmark. Lotta Stigsdotter, a destination developer at Next Skövde, expressed enthusiasm for the production, emphasizing its connection to the recently renovated forest area, which now dons new inhabitants for this charming tale. The project is a joint effort between Kultur i Skövde, the recreation department, and Next Skövde, with financial support from Swedbank through Sparbanksstiftelsen Alfa.
