In parallel developments at nightclubs, two separate suspected rape cases have led to arrests in southern Sweden. In Malmö, police were alerted around 3 AM Sunday after security guards detained a man in his 20s at a nightclub. The man is suspected of committing an aggravated rape in a restroom, with the victim being a 35-year-old woman. Police have classified the incident as serious and made details public on their website.

Earlier on Sunday, around 2 AM in Linköping, a man in his 50s was arrested on suspicion of raping a woman outdoors. The woman reported the incident to the police and was taken to a hospital for examination, though she did not suffer physical injuries. Using the victim's information, officers apprehended the suspect at a nearby bar.
