Mixed Q4 Financial Results and Dividend Decisions Among Swedish Industrial Firms

Several Swedish industrial and engineering companies have released their financial results for the fourth quarter of 2025, highlighting varied performance and dividend outlooks.

Nibe Industrier, an energy technology firm, reported an adjusted operating profit of 1.4 billion SEK for Q4, up from 1.1 billion SEK in the same period of 2024, with stable revenue at 11 billion SEK. Reflecting this improvement, Nibe's board has proposed to increase the dividend to 35 öre per share from 30 öre last year. CEO Gerteric Lindquist noted challenges stemming from tariffs and political tensions, which have dampened consumption and investment confidence.

In contrast, Meko faced difficulties, recording zero organic growth during Q4 and a profit decline. The company has decided against proposing a dividend for 2025, reflecting its tough year.

Vestum, which operates in infrastructure, reported a slight organic revenue decline in Q4 but managed to break a long trend of falling profits, indicating a potential financial turnaround.

Additionally, Finnish engineering company Hiab, formerly known as Cargotec, reported an adjusted operating result of 47.3 million euros for Q4 2025, evidencing its ongoing operational efforts.

These reports show a mixed financial climate for the Swedish industrial sector with some companies overcoming challenges and others adopting cautious payout policies amid uncertain economic conditions.
