Massive Police Raid Dismantles Illegal Gambling Network 'Krukan' in Stockholm

Swedish police, in collaboration with Europol and other agencies, conducted a major operation targeting the illegal gambling club 'Krukan' in Södermalm, Stockholm. During the operation, police seized assets worth millions, including luxury watches, large sums of cash, and narcotics. Five key individuals associated with the network were arrested, including two apprehended in Spain. Among those detained by the Stockholm District Court are two men facing charges of serious illegal gambling and money laundering. Europol estimates the criminal organization generates an annual turnover exceeding 200 million SEK.

The raid utilized advanced resources such as drones and helicopters and involved cooperation with the Swedish Gambling Authority and the Enforcement Authority. One of the arrested individuals is a man in his 30s previously involved in a notable incident at Stockholm's F12 nightclub.
