Marcus Godinho Signs with Degerfors IF to Strengthen Squad

Degerfors IF has officially signed 28-year-old Marcus Godinho, a former Canadian national team defender, as part of their strategy to enhance their roster this summer. The sporting director of Degerfors, Patrik Werner, expressed enthusiasm about Godinho’s arrival, stating, "Marcus is a thrilling player who has performed well in both MLS and the Polish top league. Godinho joins Degerfors after playing for Korona Kielce in Poland and the Vancouver Whitecaps in Major League Soccer (MLS). He brings not only his defensive skills but also the versatility to operate in midfield. His experience includes five appearances with the Canadian national team from 2018 to 2020, highlighting his international experience.
