About fifty candidates listed at the top of party lists for the upcoming elections show a concentration in certain regions and a complete absence in others, highlighting uneven political coverage across Sweden.

David Karlsson, a professor at Göteborgs universitet specializing in municipal politics, stresses the importance of these geographical conflicts in understanding local political dynamics. According to Karlsson, the residential location of politicians influences electoral outcomes and representation, making this mapping a crucial insight into upcoming election patterns.

This spatial imbalance is especially relevant as candidates implicitly request public trust by placing their names on ballots, representing voters at local, regional, or national levels for the next four years.
