Swedish artist Malou Berg will release her new single 'Stay With Me' on August 20, 2025. This upcoming track is characterized as a pleading ballad, rich with themes of beauty and desperation, marking the fourth release in a series of songs that were not included on her albums. Collaborating with renowned pianist Jacob Karlzon, the song captures an intimate essence, primarily featuring piano and vocals.

The production was further enhanced by contributions from Lasse Nilsson at Nilento Studio, who incorporated flugelhorn, and Lars Danielsson, who added cello, along with background vocals from Jenny Nilsson and Katarina Milton. The orchestral backdrop features musicians from the Gothenburg Symphony Orchestra, creating a poignant soundscape arranged by Tormod Tvete Vik.

The lyrics are notably reflective, voiced from the perspective of Malou's mother, who faced profound loss, adding depth to the emotional experience presented in the song.
