Despite Brynäs outshooting Malmö 44 to 22, Malmö's goalkeeper Oskar Blomgren delivered an impressive performance, stepping up after three previous games on the bench to limit Brynäs' scoring opportunities.

Malmö is currently positioned fifth in the SHL standings and has earned points in 17 of their last 19 matches, showing consistent playoff-caliber performance.
