Malmö Prepares to Host Europe Smash 2026, Europe's Premier Grand Smash Table Tennis Tournament

The Europe Smash 2026, Europe's only Grand Smash table tennis tournament, is set to take place in Malmö from August 8 to 16. Recognized as one of the four most prestigious events on the World Table Tennis Tour alongside the Singapore Smash, US Smash, and China Smash, this tournament attracts the world's best players competing in singles, doubles, and mixed doubles categories. With a substantial prize pool of $1.55 million (approximately 14.77 million kronor), the event also offers crucial world ranking points, enhancing its significance in the table tennis calendar.

Since its inception in 2024, Europe Smash has rapidly become a major highlight in international table tennis, positioning Malmö as a central hub for the sport in Europe.
