Investigation Underway Following Explosion at Gothenburg Residential Building

In the early hours of August 4, 2025, an explosion occurred at the entrance of a multi-family residential building in Frölunda, Gothenburg. The incident was reported to police at 23:57 and has since been classified as a public endangerment situation. Authorities swiftly responded to the scene, cordoning off the area as the national bomb protection unit arrived to assess potential threats.
