This high-end equipment can reach speeds of 40 km/h and inclines up to 20%, designed to simulate challenging skiing conditions regardless of weather. Karlsson, who secured her spot on Sweden’s Olympic team earlier this year, believes this purchase is a key step toward achieving her first Olympic gold medal.

The treadmill has attracted attention not only from Karlsson’s teammates but also from Norwegian athletes, with Tiril Udnes Weng calling it a “luxury in everyday life” and Petter Northug noting it sends a “clear signal to competitors.” Fellow skiers often request to borrow the machine during poor weather, highlighting its appeal among elite athletes.
