Five-Year-Old Girl Injured in Helsingborg Playground Released from Hospital as Investigation Continues

A five-year-old girl who was seriously injured in a stabbing incident at Furutorpsparken in Helsingborg has been discharged from the hospital, authorities confirmed on July 15, 2026. The girl sustained severe cutting wounds and was hospitalized after the incident on Monday afternoon.

Police quickly cordoned off a large area around Furutorpsparken to investigate, conducting witness interviews and reviewing surveillance footage.
