Extensive Police Search Underway for Missing 25-Year-Old Woman in Salem's Rönninge Area

A major police operation is ongoing in Salem following the disappearance of a 25-year-old woman who was last seen at Rönninge train station shortly after midnight on December 26, 2025. The woman, reported missing by her relatives on Boxing Day, was last known to be at the station around 1:20 to 1:30 AM, according to surveillance footage and mobile phone connection data.

The police response has been extensive, involving helicopters, drones, search dogs, forensic teams, and patrols, with parts of the area around Rönninge station cordoned off for investigative purposes. Personal items belonging to the missing woman were found near the station by friends, further intensifying the search efforts.
