Djurgården Readies for SHL Return with Young Talents

With their return to the SHL after clinching the hockeyallsvenska title against AIK, Djurgården is setting its sights on a promising season ahead. Rising star Viggo Björck, just 17, has expressed his determination to secure a place in the senior team following an impressive J20 season, where he racked up 89 points in 51 games. Björck acknowledges the challenges of competing for a spot but remains optimistic about his development amid a highly competitive environment.

Alongside him is veteran player Linus Klasen, gearing up for his seventh SHL season after recovering from a lower body injury. Klasen, who has a rich history in the league and has played in Switzerland, stresses the importance of nurturing young talent like Björck as they transition to the higher levels of competition.
