Carter Ashton, a Canadian ice hockey player, is currently in the final stages of negotiations to join Södertälje Hockey Club in Hockeyallsvenskan. After five seasons in the Swedish Hockey League (SHL) with teams like Leksand and Rögle, where he notably scored 19 points in 24 games during his first season with Leksand, Ashton's role has evolved to that of a supporting player due to injury setbacks that have hampered his recent performance.
