BK Häcken has officially qualified for the 2025 UEFA Europa Conference League, despite a narrow 1-0 defeat against Romanian team CFR Cluj in their second leg qualifying match. With a commanding 7-2 victory in the first match, Häcken advanced with an aggregate score of 7-3. The single goal scored by Cluj’s Adrian Paun came shortly after halftime but wasn't enough to change the outcome. Häcken's goalkeeper Etrit Berisha played a pivotal role, making several crucial saves, including one shortly after Cluj's goal, thus limiting any further threats from the opposition.

The successful qualification brings a financial boost to Häcken, with the club set to receive 3.2 million euros (over 35 million Swedish kronor) for their participation, alongside the opportunity to earn an additional 400,000 euros (around 4.4 million kronor) for each win in the group stage.
