Attempted Murder Investigation Launched After Poisoning of Three Uppsala Hospital Employees

Three nurses at Akademiska sjukhuset in Uppsala fell seriously ill in late October and early November and required intensive care, prompting a police investigation into suspected attempted murder by poisoning. The first nurse became ill on October 25, followed by two others on November 3, all from the same hospital department. The staff members have since been discharged and are reported to be recovering well.
