Anton Salétros Transfers from AIK to Chicago Fire in MLS

Anton Salétros, the 29-year-old Swedish midfielder and national team player, has officially left AIK to join Major League Soccer's Chicago Fire. AIK confirmed the transfer with Salétros set to play his final match for the club against Halmstad. The transfer fee is estimated to be between 10 and 20 million kronor.

Throughout his career at AIK, Salétros made 219 appearances since returning to the club in 2023 following a stint with French side Caen. He has also played for Sarpsborg 08, Rostov, and Ujpest. This transfer marks a significant step in his career, moving from Sweden's Allsvenskan to the MLS, aiming to continue his development and impact on an international stage.
