AIK and Degerfors Draw 3-3 in Exciting Season Opener at Strawberry Arena

AIK and Degerfors played out a thrilling 3-3 draw in their first training match of the season at Strawberry Arena, entertaining approximately 1,500 spectators. Degerfors started strong, taking a 2-1 lead into halftime with goals from youth players Olle Leonardsson and Alexander Berisson (noted also as Bennison). AIK’s Erik Flataker scored an equalizer with a header to rally the home crowd before halftime.

The second half saw a strategic move from AIK, substituting all outfield players promptly after the break. This change paid dividends as Ahmed Faqa scored an equalizer from a corner kick, quickly followed by a goal from Zadok Yohanna, putting AIK ahead 3-2. However, Degerfors leveled the score again late in the match through Nahom Netabay, finalizing the scoreline at 3-3.

The match was marked by offensive vigor from both sides, with AIK showing resilient response and tactical adjustments. AIK is scheduled to face Flora Tallinn next week, while Degerfors will meet Sirius in their upcoming challenge.
